Visitors are asked to respect the rules of the club. These are available on request. The following must be noted in particular by any visitors to the club.

Course:
1. The rules of golf, as fixed from time to time by the Royal and Ancient Golf Club, St. Andrews, together with any Local rules additionally adopted by the Management Committee shall be the rules of play.
2.If a group loses a full hole on those in front they should give way to those behind
3. Rounds at B&C should not take more than 4 hours maximum. If 9 holes take longer than 2 hours groups may be asked to leave the course
4. Do not be late for your start time. Please stick to the laid down start times on the board
5. Dogs shall not be permitted on the Course.

Dress Rules & Use of Clubhouse Lounges
Members & visitors must not use the car park for changing clothing or shoes when the Clubhouse is open.

On the course:
Collared shirt or polo-neck sweater and tailored trousers or shorts and golf type footwear. Denim trousers, running shorts, singlets or tee shirts, football team colours and scarves are not acceptable dress. For men - If wearing shorts, socks must be either long socks pulled up to the knee or short white socks above the ankle.

In the Clubhouse:
The minimum dress standard is smart casual wear throughout.

The use of Mobile phones is prohibited except in the car park.

Insurance:
1) The Club has not insurance covering personal property of Visitors. Visitors are advised to effect their own insurance.
2) The club has no insurance covering injury or damage caused by Members or Visitors to third parties or to property. Visitors must effect their own insurance to cover this risk.
